While struggling with the physical manifestations of anxiety in a time of political and social crisis, I wanted to create a space in which to come back to. To curl up inside of and rest for the next day's challenges. To help this need, I made a human sized cocoon. Wool is unique in its natural ability to warm, insulate, and be fire resistant. This wool now shelters me, as it sheltered the sheep it was grown on.
